Jonquil Ridge staffs a Report Writer on every project team to enable Engagement Managers to focus on delivering strategic results for clients.
Putting your 3 to 5+ years of experience in market research, journalism, marketing/communications or professional service to work, you’ll be staffed on projects quickly. As you master our proprietary processes and team approach, you’ll quickly advance to supporting client engagements independently, enabling the firm to scale efficiently. You’ll be a big fan of great process using our back-stage team-facing service delivery processes consistently to keep our well-oiled machine humming and everyone fanatically productive.
Position Overview
This contract, project-based role will report to the Service Delivery Operations Leader. Our need for this support will grow as business demand grows. You’ll be able to work from home with schedule flexibility. Ideally, you’ll live near the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro area and be easily available for occasional in-person meetings. Pay will be in the range of $40–60 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Turn Raw Research Into Insightful, Organized Analysis
- Read transcripts, identify key themes, answer core research questions, and surface powerful verbatim quotations.
- Turn qualitative data into clear, meaningful insights that drive client decision-making.
2. Create Polished, Client-Ready Presentations
- Transform analysis into compelling PowerPoint content—bullets, takeaways, visuals, and quotations—and perform detailed editing to ensure the draft and final reports are professional, well-structured, and persuasive.
3. Strengthen Final Deliverables With Sharp Thinking
- After Engagement Manager review, fill gaps, refine messaging, improve flow, clarify insights, and ensure the story holds together logically.
- Elevate the final output before it reaches the client.
4. Boost Team Productivity With Focus, Positivity, and Problem-Solving
- Show up ready to collaborate.
- Manage deep work effectively, think critically, and ask clarifying questions.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent deep professional experience.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in market research, journalism, marketing/communications or professional services.
- Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) preferred.
