Mission

Is unlocking voice-of-customer and voice-of-business insights your superpower? Do you love guiding clients to act on what they’ve learned and leading focused project teams to deliver strategic results? Jonquil Ridge is creating this new Engagement Manager role to enable the founder and CEO to have more capacity to focus on growth.

Putting your 10 to 15+ years of medical device experience to work, you’ll start as the #2 consultant on projects right away. As you master our proprietary processes and team approach, you’ll quickly advance to leading client engagements independently, enabling the firm to scale efficiently. You’ll be a big fan of great process using our front-stage client-facing proven process and back-stage team-facing service delivery processes consistently to keep our well-oiled machine humming and everyone fanatically productive.

Position Overview

This regular (W-2) part-time role—scoped initially for 12 to 16 hours per week—reports directly to the CEO. This role is planned as a long-term part-time position with room to grow in the hours per week as business demand grows. Benefits include working from home, schedule flexibility (typically three to four days a week, balancing some fixed meeting times with freedom to design your schedule) and paid holidays and PTO for all employees. Bonus points awarded if you would enjoy scheduling your project interviews for early mornings or occasional evening slots when it’s easier to secure our healthcare professional interviewees! Candidates must live near the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro area to be easily available for occasional in-person meetings. Travel is expected to be minimal.

We value both client-facing impact and behind-the-scenes contributions. Engagement Managers earn $140–$160 per hour for client project work and $70–$80 per hour for internal activities that support firm growth, innovation, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Team Lead

  • Lead, manage, and hold teams accountable for client goals and firm expectations.
  • Ensure delivery within scope, timing, budget, and profitability.
  • Mentor and develop team members in a way that both challenges and respects them.

2. Client Relationship Manager

  • Lead client meetings and represent Jonquil Ridge with professionalism and maturity.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with executive sponsors and key stakeholders.
  • Support scoping and sales, recommending project methodologies.

3. Senior Consultant

  • Facilitate strategic meetings such as Define Your Win™ kick-offs and recommendations.
  • Conduct qualitative interviews on technical or clinical topics.
  • Ask “why” and “why not” to uncover insights and opportunities.

4. Quality Control Lead

  • Ensure high-quality deliverables, including screeners, discussion guides, reports, and presentations.
  • Apply Jonquil Ridge’s collaboration approach to integrate team strengths.
  • Use deep clinical and market expertise to ensure credible, actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; MBA a plus.
  • Experience: 10–15 years in healthcare/medical device marketing or healthcare professional services.
  • Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) preferred.
