Our Origin
Founder and Principal JoAnna Trapp Simpson has more than 25 years of experience leading marketing and innovation projects on the corporate side. She founded Jonquil Ridge Innovation in 2020 as an intentional way to give her friends, colleagues, and new clients in healthcare technology businesses access to her highest and best expertise.
She has learned that her unique talents are better applied to highly focused project-based work than broad corporate roles. Her years of experience means she can help clients focus on the right projects to do, advise on answering strategic questions for critical projects, and lead clients through Jonquil Ridge’s unique process that manages the risks of doing new things very well. Her fiery passion for growth and innovation combined with her Midwestern practicality means that great new insights and ideas will be discovered together, and then she’ll gently but firmly nudge you to make sure your entire team is aligned, and you can start executing things quickly.
